Easy Accounting for Small Stratas 

The vast majority of stratas in BC are small and self-managed (nearly 80% have fewer than 25 units) and may think that they need an accountant to do the books. Bookkeeping and the preparation of financial statements for strata corporations doesn’t need to be complicated

 

 

Voting and Electronic Meetings

All strata corporations in B.C. are allowed to conduct annual and special general meetings by electronic means, or use a hybrid of in-person and electronic participation. No strata bylaw is required. This was permanently enabled by the Province on November 24, 2022
